About three months ago I started to fall in love with social aggregation - also sometiems referred to as lifestreaming (even though there is a difference I think). The main reason why I love social aggregation so much is because it allows me to keep tabs on my friends all over the Web & all in one place. Also, it allows people to see what I’m up to as well.

So will recruitment move into the Cloud?

Firstly the systems that you can use to do your recruitment administration, many of them are SaaS. Where it get interesting though is that “cloud recruiting” with the Social Net begin a new focus on building and maintaining relationships.

It is far easier to build and maintain an active relationship with passive candidates who just want to stay in touch with your company, see what you are doing until they are ready to make a move.

Remember the internet toaster? It’s time has almost come with the advent of The Cloud.

The Cloud, for the most part, is just another name for the internet. The difference is that it refers to an internet full of online applications which have replaced those on our own personal computers.
