There is a great deal of ambiguity in how we define cloud computing. A select few have even referred to it as gibberish, while others have mistakenly characterized the cloud as “just” software as a service (SaaS). While there is no disputing that cloud computing offers the ability to access applications hosted on the web, it is important to understand that the cloud means much more.
